      Creative Movement is a class for two- to five-year-olds.  It is for both boys and girls.  The class consists of listening and moving to different types of music.  The aims of Creative Movement are to get kids up and moving, encourage the enjoyment of music, boost creativity and imagination, provide social interaction, and just plain have fun.  Activities might include dancing, stretching, playing games, jumping on a small trampoline (fully supervised), throwing and catching balls, and any other active play. 

     Parents and caregivers are welcome to attend and to suggest music and activities.  The class will be held once a week and will run for one hour, but every child has his or her own attention span and activity tolerance and can participate as long as is optimal for him/her.  If the child does not participate for the full session, caregivers should be available to attend to him or her after the time of participation.
